Fish for King Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Silver Salmon, Sockeye, & Dolly Varden on Alaska's Kenai & Kasilof RiverAs your personal fishing guide on the Kenai River, Bear Paw Drifters guide service will lead you to World Class King Salmon, feisty Sockeye Salmon, acrobatic Silver Salmon and majestic Rainbow Trout. The Kenai River and her little brother the Kasilof River produce amazing fishing for King Salmon from May through July with prime weeks in June and July. Silver Salmon start in the beginning of August until November. Sockeye Salmon fishing is from the middle of June through the beginning of August on the Kenai River. The Rainbow Trout are available in great size and number from June through November on the Kenai River and other area streams and creeks. You will use different tactics and fishing styles depending on species and water conditions on the Kenai River as well as the Kasilof River. Willie Drift boats as well as power boats will be used during your fishing vacation with Alaska Bear Paw Drifters. Fly fishing is encouraged for Rainbow Trout, Silver Salmon and Sockeye Salmon. King Salmon can be sought after with terminal tackle.  All of your fishing gear will be provided for your fishing vacation. We pride ourselves on using the best equipment for the job. All gear will be in top condition and well maintained. If you have a favorite fly rod please brings it along. 10 foot 7 weight rods are recommended. We will provide the lures and flies during your trip on the Kenai Peninsula. Halibut trips can be arranged with our trusted offshore captains in Cook Inlet and out of Homer, Alaska.
